Wich bank should i go for?

5/3, if your just starting out do not go to chase, chase is a bank more for people who already have credit, they are not so helpful or forgiving or nice about building your credit like 5/3 is or PNC is.

I have USAA which is for those in the military or their dependents so I couldn't recommend that to you unless you fall under those categories but go for one with good customer service and low fees. I would not recommend chase bank though. From my experience their customer service is quite poor and not very helpful which is definitely not a thing you want when having someone handle your money! Unless you're going for a national bank like Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citibank, etc. your best bet is a bank local/regional to your area. For instance, I live in TN, we bank with First Tennessee. They have locations across the state. If you find you travel a lot for work or something, a national bank may be better for you. Also consider what's  important to you in a financial institution: face-to-face customer service, mobile capabilities, internet banking, etc., and do some research to see if banks around you are strong in those areas.

Most banks are the same they just vary on standard fees you just have to research different banks and see what works for you and most have debit/check cards you get when you open a checking account the small town banks might not have that option like the one in my rural town only does checks because they dont have the big business to pay visa fees
