Success stories with PCOS and Metformin?

We have been ttc for 10 months. My last af started 7/27/2016. Currently on CD 119. I went to a reproductive endocrinologist for my lack of period and got diagnosed with PCOS. He put me on provera to jump start my period and also 1,000 mg of metformin. I'm worried about not being able to get pregnant. How long were you on metformin before you conceived? Side effects? Really needing some positive stories right now! Thanks!

Try ovasitol for PCOS. We had 3 misscarriges and had to see a fertility doctor. now we have a beautiful baby after lot of struggles and pain.

Hi love, haven't had any success yet but I've been on Metformin for about a month now.. Although, I had to stop for awhile due to other reasons. the first week I had major problems w the side effects including: having to use the restroom a lot, stomach pains, and headaches. I got used to them though :) good luck!

Dont stress yourself about PCOS and fertility thing... it really gets on you. Try to keep a healthy lifestyle and exercise is pertinent.
 Metformin has some side effects like gastrointestinal problems... but you will get used to it.
I was diagnosed with PCOS 8 months back. I got pregnant the first month i was put on metformin. But unfortunately i miscarried.
