Nickname for Merrick?

So we have decided baby's name is going to be Merrick Reese (middle name was my husband's grandfather's name). We both LOVE the name Merrick. I don't know anyone with this name which was a big thing for us.... I'm looking for suggestions for a nickname. I despise Rick and any or all forms of it. The only possible nickname I can think of is Mac. Any other suggestions? Thanks! 😄
