Double Dose?

I've heard that twins need a double-dose of nutrition since there are two people instead of just one. So I've been taking two doses of prenatal vitamins daily, my usual Similac brand and a store brand gummy dose. What do you think. Is this alright?

Only one. I ask my doctor when I found out, and she said only one. You can take folic acid also. I was told I am to be placed on folic acid first, and then iron pills later on. Don't take extra of something without talking to your doctor first.

Just take one. They get all of their nutrition pretty much from you and what you eat... The prenatal is more for you to substitute what your babies are taking. Taking two isn't a good idea unless advised by your doctor.

I took two everyday I til I reached 27 weeks. I now take one. Both my babies are doing great. And at 28 weeks was baby A was 3.3lbs and baby B was 2.6lbs.

I asked my dr this after reading something about needing two prenatals a day for twins and he said that's so not true and to only take one and not to google lol
