night weaning?

Ok so one thing I know about the sleep info is so much contradictory info

So I just read at 4 months old it is better to let them sleep through night than give a middle night feed

But I heard this was bad for supply

What does everyone over 4 months do? My girl will be 4 months this week

My daughter has been sleeping through the night for the last month or so (she is 3 months old now) and I have not seen any change in my supply. She feeds every 3 hours during the day with her last feeding anywhere between 6 and 8. Bed is usually between 6:30 and 8:30 depending on her nap schedule, and she wakes up anywhere between 3:30 and 5:30 in the morning. So, 9 hours without feeding or pumping and breastfeeding is till going strong. Once she hit her birth weight I stopped waking her to feed. After a few weeks, she was sleeping longer stretches at night. I am hoping we will get her to 10 or 11 hours soon!

My daughter slept through the night since she was 5 weeks old and is still breastfed at 9 months. I never saw a decrease in my supply when she was that age but I definitely was engorged waking up in the morning. I also pumped quite a bit during the day when she was younger. When I established a good supply, I started only pumping three times a day. Everyone is different though and every baby requires different amounts.
