Healthy snacks?

My parents decided that I'm now not allowed to have basically any kind of carb and I should only eat fruit (which is unreasonable in my eyes), but I can't always have an ice pack in my laptop bag (which I have with me all day at school, I have snacks throughout the day as I usually don't have breakfast. I get hungry fast). Does anyone know any somewhat healthy thing that I can take with me to school? I hate granola (I'm weird like that) and most dried fruits and stuff. I'm kinda picky. I just need ideas for something other than fruit (and non-refrigerated). Thanks for any ideas ^^
