I have a crush on a guy but idk how to tell him...

I know some people say that I am too young to be dating (I'm 15, 16 on December 12th) but I a huge crush on a guy. He's a freshman and I'm a sophomore in high school. I don't know how to talk to him cause he's one of my friends and I'm afraid that I'll ruin our friendship if I told him. Even if I got the courage to tell him, I really don't know how to tell him. I really need some advise from the eve family cause you give some great advise on here. So my question is, should I tell him that I like him and if I do, how would I tell him?
