Baby Wraps or Carriers??

Question

Having a offly hard time deciding whether we want to buy a carrier or just stick with a wrap. To me, the carrier just seems like extra heavy weight- but my boyfriends thinks it's more comfortable. What do you think?? And why??

I got a boba wrap and it's a ton of fabric 😳 A normal carrier is much easier to use. Haha.

I got a Solly wrap and a carrier. The solly wrap for me mainly and the carrier for my husband.   I have not used it since my daughter is only 4 days old

I have a Boba wrap and I love it. My baby was 5 pounds 12 oz when we took her home so she was too tiny for a carrier. She's a month old now and I still only use the boba (I also have a convertible car seat, so I use my wrap EVERYWHERE... Restaurants, stores, doctor appointments). It's super comfortable and my baby loves it.

I bought a mint wrap. It was okay. It's a lot of fabric & im a short woman so it was just a pain in the butt. I bought a Tula! It's been great. So worth it! My daughter is 13 months & I still use it!

Some wraps can let you have akin to skin but they can be warm so they are great for cooler weather carriers are best for warm weather or slings and many wraps can't do back carry because they are too stretchy

I suggest a mei tai. It's easy like a carrier, but comfy like a wrap. Plus infantino makes one that is cheap. We love ours

I have both, but I find the sling to be the quickest easiest thing for the first few months, then again once they're sitting on your hip.  If dad is gonna be helpful in carrying baby, a carrier is the way to go. Get one that converts from chest to back.

My husband loves his baby Bjorn because it's easier for him to use. I love and couldn't have lived without my Baby K'Tan. It's sized like a shirt and looks like a wrap once it's on but 1000times easier to use 😍.

I hate wraps. They are much more difficult to use in my opinion. But I also thought they were better for  newborns. I still would never try to use one again because I hate them so much, but that's just me.
