Moving out?

I'm 18 and my boyfriend is getting a house and I want to move in with him. But people say it's hard to be on your own coming out of high school like that. I have a part time job and he has a full. I just dont know what to do because i want to move out but I'm screwed if I realize I wasn't ready. What should I do?

I moved out my senior year in highschool. graduated on time No problem. I then got pregnant 6 days after I got my diploma haha my boyfriend and I live together and I love it. my family always treated me different. I'm the black sheep of the family so moving out was the best thing to ever happen

Do what you think you should do! You're never going to learn in life if you don't take chances! If y'all are crazy about one another and ready to move in, then everything will fall in place. It's going to be hard but y'all will get through it!

If you've been together a long time then it wouldn't be a Bad idea. But if you haven't I wouldn't move in together. It's a huge change. And yes it honestly is hard because you don't know the reality of bills until you're on your own. But it's not impossible.

I moved out at 17....straight out of high school with my boyfriend from Miami to Gainesville for college....we lived together in Gainesville for three years on our own and it worked out...we split the bills and shared home chores. Only thing you need to keep in mind is to respect each other. For my relationship respect went out the window and we didn't last past five years. So what did I do? I went back home to miami....and that's OK. Do it if you feel ready. If it doesn't work out then it was an experienced learned . You can always go back home I'm sure your parents will welcome you with open arms. Good luck!!

If it's just a causal boyfriend.. don't do it.
If he is a commited boyfriend you have been with a long time.. go for it :)
