Anyone opting to deliver alone??

I'm a single FTM, wondering if anyone here is in a similar situation? I honestly don't think there's anyone I feel comfortable having in the room with me when I deliver.

I am not in your situation, ive had my husband and mom with me each time. 
I hope you can find a close friend or family member to ask. I couldnt image doing it alone. It is nice having someone capture pictures, talk about it after the fact..and you deserve to have support. It donest have to be the dad... And they dont have to look, they can stay by your head and support you. 
If you do decide to do it alone, that is okay too. Do whatever you feel best!! Good luck to you

I was going to deliver alone but decided to have my cousin, and my 2 SIL in the room. One of my SIL was in the room when my first was born, so she will be there again!

Being stationed overseas I had my first son alone. It was actually pretty great. The room was calm and quiet. I had 2 nurses helping/coaching with the actual delivery and the doc. My birth experience was really easy and once baby was born it was just me and him for about 30 mins until one of my friends was allowed to come in and visit with us. I thought it was perfect. :) good luck in your decision.

You know yourself best. Maybe ask one trusted friend to be on standby in case in the heat of labour you decide you want someone in there with you? Otherwise I would do whatever you're comfortable with. It's your labour and your baby. Good luck! :)
