Premature Rupture of Membranes 33-3

Update 12/15: Nicholas Dean arrived at 6:30am December 7th! He held out 10 days with ruptured membranes and decided that was enough. He weighed 4lb 2.6oz. He never needed oxygen! We're in the NICU and looks like we could go home this weekend. Update 12/3: We're holding steady! I'm 34-2 now. I had some contractions and bloody show last night and through the night. Contractions mostly stopped today. It could still be any time, but everyday inside is one less NICU day!

I'm due January 12th and my water broke at 33 weeks and 3 days. I was admitted to the hospital. No infection, baby is doing just fine, and I'm not in labor. I can move around, sit on a ball, shower, etc, just no going home until baby comes. Could be a couple days. Could be a couple weeks. Hoping to hold out as long as possible! They monitor baby three times a day along with my temp and vitals. Certainly unexpected and a far cry from our birth center experience. It's ok though! Taking it stride and trusting all will be  fine. We really appreciate your prayers and well wishes.
