last Ultrasound?

Is it a bad thing to have one last ultrasound? My last ultrasound was at 18 weeks. I am now 31 weeks. I've been wanting an ultrasound just cause I want to see my baby again and make sure everything looks good still. 
But I've seen that people are opting out? Any idea why? Is that a bad thing for the baby?

It's not a bad thing to have one. I get one every 6 weeks but that's just because my baby has bright bowels, my last one will be at 35 weeks. I don't think they tend to do them this far into the pregnancy unless they're concerned, but I know there are independent places that do 3D & 4D ultrasound if your just wanting to see baby again.

It isn't dangerous at all. 
Some people, like myself, opt to save the money and choose not to have an elective ultrasound done in later weeks because baby will be here soon enough. Most doctors only offer a 12 and 20 week ultrasound, and insurance does not often cover more than that.

I get one every time i go. I got one today, now last week i was on the monitor . Im almost 35 weeks,but i have been having pre labor since 32 weeks. My dr is alternating between ultrasound and monitor every weeks now.

I have to have more ultrasounds due to gestational diabetes. My last was at 32 weeks and we didn't even get to see the babies face due to the position.

If I wasn't higher risk I would've any past 20 weeks.
