too close in age?

I have a 4 month old and Hubbie and I have discussed baby #2! It is too soon already? My body has returned to normal despite needing to lose 10lbs to get back to pre baby weight! Any Mumma with kids close in age to give advice

I would wait a year. It gives the body time to fully heal, hormones rebalance, restore some lost nutrients, etc. 
I also think it's important to not rush and enjoy having a single child 🙂 but honestly, to each their own!

I breastfed for 15 months + 9 mo of pregnancy... I needed a break before I could think about a sibling!!😂 
 Now my daughter is 3.5 and I'm definitely ready for another. She's potty trained and sleeps through the night which is a huge stress reliever when thinking about the level of care/attention a baby needs.

Also, make sure you realize that babies are work ...but a toddler is a HANDFUL in comparison so remember to factor that in too. A lot of people think the baby is the real work, when honestly, it's the older child.

My brother and I are 13 months apart, but I don't think that was intentional on my parents' part haha. But I will say I LOVE having a sibling so close in age. 😊

I would talk to your doctor first. Mine recommended waiting 1 year after having my son. He said he recommends 18 months when the mom had a c-section. Your body needs time to heal from pregnancy. You lose nutrients and other stuff.

I've also been told when you don't have time inbetween pregnancies, you're more likely to go into preterm labor, your baby is more likely to have a low birth weight, and other complications.

I'm sure there are many success stories of having kids close together, just remember there are risks too. Not telling you not to have another, but I suggest getting your doctor's advice first.

I got pregnant when my daughter was 8 months! I am due in January with a boy! I am so excited because we wanted them close in age. Everyone was kinda negative about it but whatever we are adults that take care of our kids without help

Totally up to you but pregnancy really takes a lot of nutrients and minerals from you. Perhaps focus on building up your mineral and nutrient stores first for an equally healthy pregnancy. Some experts suggest 3 years between conceptions to. Hold up the mom's health
