Pain in abdominal area possible D.R?

Right under my boobs. My doctor is aware I've been feeling some tearing in my tummy lately but yesterday I did something at work I clearly shouldn't have and had a painful ripping feeling at the top of my stomach under my boobs. It hurt later when I coughed and is sore today even to the touch, especially when moving. Im basically on light duty at work, they are aware. I've read about diastatis recti could this be it? It's not excruciating otherwise I'd call my dr. I'm just curious if anyone else experienced this?
