When did it feel like you became a mother

Ever since my little one started kicking me, it's been a real reality check--I was still in partial denial before, but after the most recent ultrasound and now feeling him so regularly, I really do feel like I'm starting to become a mom. I have a son! And hes wiggling around in my uterus lol! Wow!

I'm currently 5w6d I think until I have the US but I'm feeling the same way. It almost doesn't feel real yet

I'll be honest, I didn't feel like a mother until the time my son held out his hands for me to pick him up when he wasn't well. 
I had a pretty rushed birth with him and I dont know if that made me feel like that but don't get me wrong I loved him from the moment he was born, I just wasn't sure on what I was doing amongst other things.

Now he's a total mummies boy and I love it ☺️

Nothing compares to holding your little one for the first time and staring at your beautiful baby. It really sinks in  after seeing and holding your baby.
( At least for me.)

I still don't feel like a mom yet. But I'm only 7 weeks 5 days along. I feel like it'll either be when I have my first US or the first flutters.
