misdiagnosed yeast infection?

I'm 11 weeks now and after my 10 week initial OB appointment the office called to tell me everything was fine except it seemed I had a yeast infection, told me to use monistat. Well I never did then have any symptoms of a yeast infection but listened to advice and used it. Didn't clear anything up because I don't think I had one (at least not like I have before). Anyway today is 24 hours after I've used Monistat 1 and I now am noticing an odor I didn't have before.  Any advice or similar stories ladies? I'm kinda mad I even used the stuff since I didn't have a problem and do now
