Any moms being judged for giving their baby different foods?

My mom's is all about me just giving my son just baby food and formula. However I've tried tons of stuff to try. Of course having no teeth has made it hard but we know what to not try. I made cookies the other day and he saw mommy and daddy eating them....I saw his face and i let him try it out....well here is the results. He loved it. My mom would have a cow if she saw this.  We watched and monitored him. He did get.

My son stopped eating baby food around 8mo me now eats what we eat. He loves basically everything. No sweets till first birthday and no honey but other then that he if can chew it he gets it

Popsicle, potato soup, and Oreos. If she wants them she gets them. I hate eating in front of her and having her reach for it

I gave my son some pasta tonight and took a pic and sent it to my inlaws. Within seconds they called us screaming at us telling me that we were going to kill me son. I guess he should be on puréed foods and milk the rest of his life so he is never in danger. This is the second time they have called us screaming we were putting my sons life in danger. He is almost 9 months btw and loves eating everything and has no problems.

I have three kids. My youngest is 9 months. We do stay away from sweets for the first year, rarely have juice, and almostnever have processed foods. But other than that, I'm a big fan of blw and letting baby feeding himself. No one judges me, no. But if they do I certainly don't notice or care. Focus on giving your child the tools and ability to be healthy.

My SIL gives her baby's soda in their bottles and cupcakes galore though. I judge the hell out of her. Her 13 year old is pushing 300lbs and is far from healthy.

Promote health. The rest is unimportant

I give my daughter everything except highly processed food or sugary foods (we rarely eat them either so it's not hard). But she loves eggs, Greek yogurt, peas, grilled cheese, carbonara, the list goes on! Imo it's so much better to give them these foods now so they don't flip out in 3 months when we pretty much cut out purees completely.

My mom is the total opposite. My baby was two months and she was like, "When are you feeding that baby real food?? There's no way he is full with just your breastmilk!" Lol we started feeding him table food around three months when his doctor gave us the green light so she was very happy. He eats everything. Only thing he hasn't had is honey  and soda. But he eats everything we eat. My mom is an old school Mexican lady. They will try and feed you as long as you're in front of them lol one time I had two tamales and hot chocolate And my grandma handed me a granola bar and I looked at her like 😳 she said, "I watched you. You ate so little. I don't want you to go hungry." I'm a big girl. Believe me, I don't go hungry, grandma lol

My son eats what we eat a lot of the times. I give him baby food, but I've also given him French fries, spaghetti, bread, fruit, and thanksgiving dinner. I watch him and he's very good about it all.
