I am craving pregnancy so badly...What's wrong with me?

I'm 19 and a nursing major and my boyfriend is 21 and has 3 majors: Accounting, Finance, and Entrepreneurship.

We have a very healthy relationship and an avid sex life. I am on the pill and we use condoms sometimes.  I have been wanting to get pregnant and have a baby lately and it is not like me.  In theory I want to get pregnant,  but in reality I don't want to since we are both in college and children are expensive. It's kind of difficult to explain. It's not even just around ovulation,  it is every waking moment.

Why am I feeling this way. . .??
What's wrong with me?

me too! my boyfriend and I are both also still in college but I keep thinking how amazing it would be to have our baby already.. we even talk about it although we both know it wont be happening any time soon... I think it's the "love hormones" that wake up your mama bear instincts ☺️

It's perfectly normal to feel that way, it's part of how some of us are wired. We need to be in order for the human race to survive. It's great that you're taking that step back to analyze your current situation and recognize it might be better to wait! You'll know when the time is actually right as long as you keep that rational thought process. I felt this way since I was 16, waited til I was married and financially stable at 22, had my daughter at 23. Dont worry, your feelings are completely normal!

It's biology! Biologically your body is at its best time to conceive. However I our society if you have a life and goals beyond children, and considering the cost, it's not a smart idea. It's mature of you to hold off. I felt the same at 19. I'm thrilled I didn't conceive with the man I thought I loved at 19 though. It would have been a disaster. I had a very serious long term relationship during that time of my life that ended in disaster. A child would have made things worse. I met my husband shortly after finally walking away when I was 25. We've been together 9 years. I have three kids. We can also afford all of our children and have established careers. There was merit in waiting. You can do it!

Oh girl, once that clock starts ticking, there is no going back...! Mine started around 26-27 (I'm now 31) when I noticed becoming much more aware of babies and pregnant woman, and thinking about it more often. I would say it hit full speed 3 years ago, when I found myself in a stable relationship, with a tamer life style (I had just spent 6 years travelling and enjoying the free and easy life). I was in school getting my degree though, so I waited some more. But I totally understand how you feel. I was never the one to be absolutely sure I ever wanted children, so sometimes I find it hard to deal with this crazy part of my brain that I seem to have no control over, and that makes me think and act in a way that I dont fully grasp. Oh the joys of being a woman 😂 but I wouldn't trade it for anything on the world 💕

It's normal to feel that way but the fact you've acknowledged it's not the greatest time is very mature of you and proves you'll be a great parent. Just channel this feeling/distract in other ways... get a pet, pick up a hobby;maybe even one you guys can do together. If you have relatives/friends with children offer to spend time with them... especially when they get upset and chuck tantrums that might be enough to make you happy to wait a little while 😂😂 good luck
