maternity leave?

first time mommy! 29 weeks on thursday. just curious when you guys left for your maternity leave? I want to work as long as possible, however I work for my mother and she is being super cautious with me being that it's a very busy and fast paced job

My doctor just took me out at 37 weeks because I have an hour + commute each way and he didn't want me doing that at this late stage.

I left 4 weeks before. I needed time to get stuff together and just needed time off work. I had a stressful job and with no sleep and keeping up with everything else it was killing me. There are days I feel like I should be back at work but my mental well being is soooo much better now I can go into this new chapter without wanting to kill someone...

I left 2 weeks before i gave birth and i go back tomorrow 😭😭😭 my babys 8 weeks old and wahhh im gonna miss her so bad. Been really emotional all week about it

I will leave the day I go in labor or have my section in February. I do have all of my lesson plans printed and ready to go in a binder for the sub just in case.

It depends on your state, job, Doctor, and pregnancy. I would ask your doc they'll be able to let you know an answer. Also as long as your doc doesn't take you out you can work until your due date.
