captioned "Baby can/ does" annoying posts

Sorry. Not sorry. These " Baby can look/ focus/ laugh/ smile/ etc." posts are cute and all. Am I the only one that finds them kind of strange and slightly annoying? Like, OK, we get it your baby's milestones are amazing but your captioned photo is just odd that your child can do something. I mean "My Cat can focus on you when you say her name!"
