can i use lavender oil on my belly? i am 27 wks pregnant is it safe? on the bottle it says do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. But my nurse said its fine to use..

As long as it's a 100% pure trusted brand, yes you can. As with all essential oils, always use a carrier oil when applying topically. Love my oils!

Not directly on your tummy! Will burn your skin. Make sure your using it with extra virgin coconut oil or grape seed oil:) something non comogenic :)

I'd think it wise to Check out resources from the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy for safe advice on pregnancy and essential oils.  They're typically not recommended for the first trimester. Please, please do not take advice from sales reps for any of the Multi Level marketing companies- many practices promoted by these companies are deemed very unsafe by anyone with real aromatherapy training.  Best of luck :)

I used all sorts of oils when pregnant and even now postpartum. I have some that are even safe for baby. Lavender is ok with a carrier oil. I personally prefer almond oil as it moisturizer my skin the best.

My belly oil has lavender oil in it. I think it's to add the relaxing scent. There's a whole other list of oils in it too.
