How should i feel? 😌

So my baby was born with jaundice so he stayd an extra day at the hospital under a light, the doctors introduced formula to my baby so he could poop all the bilirubin, after that he wouldn't latch only for 6sec ever since I've been pumping but it seems like this week i have less milk. And have started giving him formula, people are quick to judge with out knowing behind the scenes. Should i feel less of a mother?

No, as long as you are feeding your baby then you are doing your job as a mother. Don't let others opinions affect you, I know its hard but you are the mother not them and if you use formula fine, at least baby is eating and gaining weight and getting healthy. Breast feeding can be hard, I haven't tried pumping yet, but at times I feel like I'm not making enough. Don't stress too much. Having a baby is stressful enough so just relax and enjoy your baby (:

No ! Never feel less of a mother you gotta do what you gotta do but I understand your feeling .. my baby got jaundice 2 days after we left the hospital due to my milk not coming in and my colostrum dehydrating her .. so believe me I was pissed when I learned the colostrum was high in nutrients but dehydrating 😢 however my milk came in the day she was admitted in the hospital .. now she eats ALOT I can't keep up with her demand so I have to supplement her bottles with formula and breast milk so I know how you feel abt the formula part because I cried .. but never feel less than a mother you can't help what has happened ❤️❤️❤️

Of course you're not less of a mother! Sometime the best choice for your baby and your family isn't going to be what you initially wanted or what other people think is the "right" thing to do. As upsetting as they can be, ignore those people who are quick to judge; they are ignorant of your whole story.
