How did you announce to your parents that you're pregnant?

I'm trying to think of ideas to let my family know. They'll come to visit us in a week and I'm still not sure what to do to be as surprising and memorable as possible :D

We had a cake made that said "baby H due July 2016". We all went out to dinner and the waitress brought the cake out for dessert 🙂 there were shouts and tears. It was really fun!

We bought picture frames that said something about grandkids and framed our 10 week ultrasound and gave them that.
For us it was shortly after Father's Day, my parents wedding anniversary and my FILs birthday so we just said we had late presents for them.

We invited them round for dinner and once they had arrived and were settled we sent in our dogs wearing tshirts saying "our pet human due May 2017" with baby footprints!! Took them a while to catch the dogs and read but went down really well!!!!!!

We gave ours a gift and in the box underneath the decoy gift was an infant sized hockey jersey, both our parents are fans so it was a really fun way to surprise them. They both freaked out.

I got my parents and in laws a picture frame that said grandparents on the bottom and got scrapbook paper that was baby themed and wrote for my parents  " Grandbaby #5 coming April 2017", and it was a picture frame that was bigger and had 5 smaller frames within it, one for each grandkid. Then for his parents I put " Grandma and Grandpas where cousins become best friends, grandbaby #2 coming April 2017". I made them different because this little guy is #5 on my parents side and #2 on his parents.
