No more sex?? !!! please help!

My boyfriend and I been dating for four years already, and I notice that we have a lot of sex. So yesterday I told him that from now on I don't want to do it no more bc I don't want out relationship to be about sex. He was very upset and said that it's part of a relationship, that if there is no sex there is going to be a lot of stress. Is that true? Am I "over reacting" or am I doing right ughhh please help

Sex can be healthy in relationship but if you're concerned about sex dominating it then you and your boyfriend need to spend more time doing other activities outside of sex. You don't need to cut it off completely but you can reduce the amount of sex you have and focus more on other things. Sex isn't the only way to be intimate. Is this the only problem in your relationship?

If all you do is have sex, then yes it could be cut down on. But sex is part of being together! You've been together for a long time, I don't think he's just using you
