missing condom?

My boyfriend and I bought a 3 pack of condoms and kept them in my car, my period started and we didn't have sex for a week, and then other stuff came up and it turned into two weeks. Well when we finally were gonna have sex I grabbed the box and one was missing. he claimed he used one to masturbate in because of "the mess" But he masturbates in the shower for that. I just don't know what to do or say :(

Honestly, I don't think a guy would masturbate with a condom on because it doesn't feel as good for them and most guys don't even want to use condoms. So believe him if you want. But I wouldn't.

1: don't store your condoms in your car.
2: of you know for a fact he only masturbates in the shower then I would be concerned and suspicious. 
It is possible he's telling the truth but I know I have trust issues and I would trust my instinct because that just throws up so many red flags.
Also I personally have never heard of guys masturbating in condoms. Most of them don't want to have sex with a condom on so why waste a condom by jacking off in it?

All I say is trust your gut feeling, talk to him and figure out how you want to go forward.
Relationships are built on trust and if you don't trust him then you need to break it off.

Your instincts are usually right. If you know he how he usually masturbates, he could've thought of a quick lie to cover up what he did with it. Story time haha. 
      I was in a LDR, I left & counted the remaining condoms at my ex's house 😎. He was acting weird so randomly on FT I told him to show me the box and count them out.... 1 was missing. At first he was saying that it could've fell out or blah blah. Then he said let me look in my car.... I was like why would it be in there & he slipped and said bc yano I went to visit his dude friend at a college... His excuse was ehhh he wanted me to bring one to him.... After 3 days of interrogation he said that he brought it because we were arguing & he was mad at me. He denies actually using it, but who knows.
