Should hospitals have a smoking section?

I live in Canada. Our hospital does not allow any smoking on the property. My son (2) was in the hospital this past summer for a week and everytime we took a walk we would have to pass through the smoking section. It's a disgusting habit. Right after our stay they banned all smoking on the property. Like it's a hospital!! Seems counterproductive. In my home down it was banned but now they want to make a smoking section because people that live behind the hospital are complaining about the hospital smokers smoking on their property. I say sorry, but too bad. I 💯 believe that hospitals should be smoke free. What do you think?
