Is it normal to be in this much pain during af?

Every time I'm on my period I get these insane pelvic cramps that won't go away with any pain medication. I've tried multiple kinds of birth control pills, hot baths, and heating pads but it barely helps! I'm in so much pain that I can barely walk, I can't sleep, and I can't do any of my normal activities. Is this normal?

Definitely set up a gynecologist appointment. I would wait and ignore my period pains.. and I had a feeling somethig wasn't right. Turn out I had a 3.5 cyst on my left ovary.. had to get surgery.. which I was so looking forward too..because I knew it had to get taken out .. it would cause me so much pain and weakness. Not saying you have one, just if you feel something isn't right go make a appointment. :)

I'm the exact same. For the last 6 years it's been like this & Now finally going for a laparoscopy in Jan to find out about Endo. Talk to your Dr

have you gotten tested for Endo? you might want to look into that
