when you supposed to gain weight ??

Hey ladies I am a lil curious on when I should be gaining baby weight bc I'm having twins n read I should beshowing  more than a singleton mom to be. I have been through morning sickness since 5/6 weeks. I know I dropped lbs bc I was vomiting at least once a day, but now 16 weeks n I'm at pre pregnancy weight. Appetite slowly is growing but not dramatic difference? Is this normal?

I'm 34 weeks and just hit 30 pounds. We didn't know we were having twins until 21 weeks so I thought I was right on track. One of my books suggests weight gain earlier the better and I'm starting to see why. I get full so fast and struggle to eat enough to keep up! I drink my husband's mass gainer protein shakes for extra calories and protein.

Ok this is comforting, I'm glad to hear this and yes I've heard that you lose more in other areas to compensate for your belly and boobs. I know it'll be in no time I will want to take back this question lol. Thanks ladies! At my 16 weeks apt now, let you know what they say

I lost 9lbs in first trimester.  Then gained slowly up to about week 20 when I was up about 12lbs. I'm due next Friday with di/di twins and have gained about 45-50lbs. However, it is 100% in my belly and my boobs.  All of my under the belly pants are now too big for me, so I have actually lost weight in my hips, thighs, and butt.

I don't think there's an exact science, it's different for everybody. For me personally, I gained 3 pounds in the first trimester and by 16 weeks I was putting on two pounds a week. My doctor is happy with my weight gain so far. I'm 25+5 and have gained about 28 pounds. It's all in my belly and boobs, my legs and butt are skinnier than they used to be, arms and face the same as  pre-pregnancy.

I think it's been different for all of us! My doctor said 20lbs by 20 weeks, but I had just gained back what I lost in first trimester by that time. I'm now almost 33wweks and up 14 pounds from prepregnancy. My boys seem to be growing big anyway, so that's what really counts.

I think it is normal. I had bad morning sickness and I started gaining weight around 14 week. And now I had 14 lbs plus at 22 weeks :).
