How many text is too many?

I was regularly talking to this boy everyday for a couple weeks and we where going to hang out after break or so I thought. He completely stopped answering me I sent him 2 messages in the past 48hours(one a day). But I'm not sure if it's my phone because it's acting weird or if it's him just ignoring me. What do I do I need advice please.
