Car seat?

I'm torn between an infant carrier or a convertible seat. This will be our third and with the other two, we got infant carriers. This time around I'm unsure of which I want to get. Our son will be four and daughter be 1.5. Any suggestions on what you think is better or what you've done would be extremely helpful. TIA!

I love the convenience of the infant seat and popping it in and out if car base/stroller especially in first few mos when they sleep so much.

We've used a convertible from birth and have zero regrets. It was so much easier than lugging around a heavy seat that she would have outgrown in a short time. We'll get another convertible for our second baby.

Did you get rid of your old infant carrier? I plan to use one for two kids (I expect them to be relatively close together). That way I feel like I'm getting my money's worth.

If you're only going to get one, go with a convertible. But the infant is definitely helpful the first few months.

Honestly it depends on your vehicle seas, we have a convertible one but our Nissan seats are not as flat as what the seat needs so we are using an infant seat the first month or so.
