Mirena inserted today
Ok guys! I got my mirena today... I almost fainted in that effing table :(!
I knew I was going to have some pain, but I didn't think it was going to send me back to 6th grade when I used to faint from pain.
For 2 seconds it was borderline bearable. I forgot to take any painkillers before. I chugged 2 advils right after tho. It took me 30 minutes to feel like myself again.
I'm happy I don't have to take any pills for the next 5 years, but damn! I really hope it was worth it
I just needed to share my experience with someone other than my boyfriend. Bless his soul tho, he stayed with me through the whole process and remained calm
