Fireplace while pregnant

Hi ladies, last night I stayed at my brothers house and had to sleep out by the fireplace. I could smell the wood burning like normal but was wondering if this could have harmed my baby? It did irritate my nose and dry it out a little. Just a little nervous on this. I wasn't inhaling smoke or anything just could smell the strong smell of burning wood. Thoughts?
