Packing babies diaper bag?

So im 34 weeks and starting to think about packing things up for baby. I have a son who i had last december i sort of remember him swimming in 0-3 for the first week then after like 2 weeks fitting it a little loose but nothing crazy. Im wondering tho since this baby im being told will be around 6 lbs plus about a half a pound smaller than my son. They said girls tend to be smaller. Anyways i dont want to splurge on newborn cuz it only fit my son for like 2 weeks. What are you all doing?

I have maybe 4 newborn outfits and then short and long sleeve onsies probably 15 all together and then 4 sleepers. I don't want to go overboard. My sisters kids stayed in newborn for almost a month though. But I've had several people tell me there kids were out of newborn within two weeks

My son was 7.2 and wore newborn clothes for over a month. When he was first born and for the first few days even those were too big. You don't want their clothes to fit really loose it's dangerous. I would advise buying 5-7 newborn onsies or layettes. You can them in a pack for pretty cheap.

Just buy like 10-15 newborn outfits. They don't stay newborn size long. You will have to do laundry probably every 3/4 days if she is messy but that will keep you from spending on newborn stuff that she won't wear long.
