Changing due date
According to my last period and cycle, I should be 8+2 today. Last week at 7 weeks exactly, we went in for a transvaginal ultrasound and everything looked great- we saw and heard the heart beating! The ultrasound tech said we should keep my due date of July 27th.
Yesterday at 8+1 we had an appointment with our midwife who reviewed the ultrasound and said based on measurements, she wants to push our due date to August 2nd! I was totally surprised that she feels we were measuring that far behind and no one mentioned that to us when I asked at the time of the ultrasound.
I told her I was concerned, but she said not to worry and they would try to find the heartbeat again with a Doppler on January 6th, when I'll be around 10 weeks.
Has anyone else had this when you're told conflicting information from your ultrasound and midwife/doctor? This is our first pregnancy so can't stop worrying.
