My angel is here

I was scheduled for a c-section on 12-15-16 but all day on 12-14-16 I was having contractions. I would rate the pain 7-8 on scale of 1-10 but could still walk and talk through each and they were between 10-20 minutes apart. I even had bloody show but every time I called the nurse advice line they said since this was my first pregnancy I should wait until my contractions are 2-5 minutes apart for 2 hours straight or my water breaks. Well about 9:30pm I felt a pop and a small warm rush or fluid. My water broke! On the way to the hospital my contractions were definitely 5 minutes apart. Once they took me to triage they wanted to check to see how far along I was. The nurse looked up with a worried look "I feel the baby's head your fully dilated you have to push now" I panicked I planned a c-section so I didn't bother with Lamaze classes I had no idea what to do. And I asked about an epidural I was told it's too late I have to have the baby asap. I was rolled into a delivery room and 7 minutes & 4 pushes later my angel was here. I'm still in shock that I had a natural birth but I'm glad I did!
