Coughing newborn?

When and how do I decide if the cough is normal.?  Is it even normal for a baby to be coughing. ? She also had been getting a stuffy nose.

How often and how does it sound? My LO coughs a couple of times a day and is a tad big congested. His is all dry though not wet n snotty.

My little guy coughs ever so often. I asked the nurse about it, she didn't seem concerned at all. He's congested and the dry air doesn't help.  It happens mostly when he's lying down, and not often. 
She said if it gets worse, or he gets a fever, to bring him in. But for now just keep the humidifier going and keep up with using saline and the Nose Frieda to clear this sinuses.
