Mucus Plug = hope for labor?

Question

So I just lost my mucus plug, no doubt about it. There was TONS of the snot stuff lined with pink. I'm 39+4 so it's perfect timing. Should I expect labor soon? Anyone wanna share their experience if the went into labor after COMPLETE loss of the mucus plug or not?

Just lost mine also!!! I'm 40 weeks 4days
I'm scheduled to be induced 12am Thursday but 
I'm hoping that this means labor will start on its own before then!

i lost mine in a 3 day span & went into labor a weej after it was completely gone.  when my mom had my brother she lost her entire plug at once & went into labor that same night

I lost mine about a week and a half ago.. I had high hopes labor was coming soon. I'm now 41 weeks 😩 and nothing.

I've been losing mucus plug for about a week but it was blood tinged this morning. I have been having cramping all day with inconsistent contractions. Now I'm having diarrhea very badly. Hoping this is the start of things...
