Irregular cramps

I have been have been having cramps a lot lately they come and go during the day or skips a few days. Sometimes during the middle of the night I get some. I thought at first it was my period but I checked the date and I still have a while until I should get my period. I did have unprotected sex once.  Recently I have been kinda weird, I kinda don't wanna take a test untill I get get my period. Could it mean that I am pregnant?
