need to take 81mg aspirin - anyone had this?

At my DR appointment I was told that I need to take aspirin a low 81 mg because I am showing that I may develop high blood pressure later. So to help prevent this i need to take the aspirin for 8 weeks. Anyone else? It's a low dose but I read somewhere aspirin shouldn't be taken while pregnant

I'm taking labetalol 200mg/3x a day, and baby aspirin for my blood pressure at 23 weeks. The baby aspirin was prescribed by my maternal fetal medicine specialist, I've been worried about taking any meds during pregnancy, but I have had to have trust they are doing what's best for me and my son

I took it up until 35 weeks and so far baby is good. I've been off it for 2 weeks now.

I was just told this on Monday at the dr. I've always had perfect blood pressure, but was told I'm at risk for preeclampsia due to a cold in my placenta. I think we should follow doctors orders! Better to take a baby aspirin every day than to delivery preterm.

I've been taking baby aspirin since 14 weeks.. it's completely safe once a day .. I'm at 27 weeks now, and everything looks good so far 🙏🏼

Never heard of anyone doing that my Dr just put me on blood pressure medicine. But if your doctor says it's safe I'd assume it's safe.

Took it throughout my pregnancy to act as a blood thinner, have to continue to take it for the rest of my life. The only way it harms baby I think is if you give to baby directly, not if you take it yourself

Baby aspirin is totally safe to take. I've been taking the same dosage since 26 weeks because my blood pressure has been elevated. My doctor put me on it once a day as a precaution. I'm 28 weeks now and so far so good!
As long as it's low dose and once a day it's fine. Regular aspirin is what you want to stay far away from while pregnant.
