Husband hates my dog

I know this sounds stupid. But almost 9 months ago (literally the same month we conceived) my husband tagged me in a puppy on Facebook. Long story short I brought home a little white fluff ball.

He HATES my dog. I can't go to bed early because the second I do he puts him in his cage, same if I take a shower. I had a family emergency onetime and he left him in his cage for almost a hole day. He doesn't hit him but he'll stomp his feet around him and chase him until he's scared. I haven't had any help training him or cleaning up his messes since I brought him home. I love my fluff ball so much but I feel awful we have to live like this. My moms offered to take him but I love him so much.

**I try to talk to him about this almost once a week and all he can say back is how much he hates him.
