I was in a relationship for 8 years...it had the good the bad and the ugly. The bad got worse and it got more uglier and I started waking up in the mornings sad and I didn't want to feel like that anymore. I left him...we have three kids and I left because I didn't want them growing up in an unhappy abusive home. I know all situations and relationships are different but once I got out of that I felt so free and it was amazing. A year later I met an awesome man (now my husband) who treats us so good and I thought I would never find this type of love. Know your worth ❤️

It took me 3 years to finally be done with my incredibly abusive ex . I was totally disgusted and scared by him for years and just couldn't manage to have enough strength to walk away . Eventually he hit me in front of my daughter and DCF got involved after she told a teacher . BEST thing to ever happen to me.  The second I got that phone call my heart stopped beating.  There was a real chance I could lose my daughter bc i stayed with someone who kicked my ass. It was an easy decision then . I called and broke up with him, got a restraining order, changes my number and completely wiped him out of my life.  It was easier than I thought.  This man wasn't worth my family, my happiness and sanity anymore.  Years later I look back and thank God that I got out when I did . You can do it.  Even if he isn't abusive and the relationship is over you still have to cut off all contact.  Remove any items that bring memories of you 2 and put them in a box and away ... get some thearpy and learn to build your inner strength.  RELY ON PEOPLE WHO LOVE YOU FOR SUPPORT.  THAT'S WHAT THEY ARE IN YOUR LIFE FOR ♡♡

To be honest...you just kind of have to cut yourself off. I cut off my ex 3 months ago and it was one of the most toxic relationships. I almost lost my life being with him..and for whatever reason I just thought it was okay to stay. Have I failed in those 3 months? Absolutely. I have, however, found myself writhing on the kitchen floor in agony with tears flowing resisting the urge to call and text. It's gunna hurt. A lot. It's gunna feel like you're hurting yourself...but then one day, mine was 3 days ago, something clicked and I just...stopped letting it weigh me down. I don't know what it was but suddenly it wasn't so consuming. I'm surviving! :D Do I still have random bouts of crying? Absolutely...but it isn't so overwhelming anymore. Eventually I'll be back to normal and you know what? I may NEVER date again...but that's okay. Sometimes the old you has to die in order to become a stronger, better person. As long as I have me and I'm able to work, laugh and have friends...I'm okay. Everything else is extra.

I was seeing a guy who was friends with my brother. We kept it a secret cus he was my brothers friend but little did I know it was all in his favour. He used me for sex told me he loved me, said he wanted a life with me etc 
He told me he never loved me and just wanted my body (yes I know😔) he left me for a girl called Mercedes and I had to get over him. 
I was heart broken I still wanted to be with him, but I knew I had to get over him some how. 
My advice. 
I ate a lot of ice cream. A lot. 😂 
I looked in the mirror everyday and told myself he's not worth my tears, he's not worth my time. He's not worth me. I told myself that everyday, everyday. Couple weeks after I was putting make up on again going to college with confidence. Etc. Just hold your head high sweet. Tell yourself your amazing, beautiful,kind, caring anything you want. And tell yourself eventually non of this is going to matter. 
I see him all the time, with my brother or at the shop and I walk past him with my head held high. 
I even laugh at him, cus I always think what was I thinking. 😂😂 
Hun, it will be 10 months down the line and yourll see how much better off you are without him 🎀I promise you that.
