Sex with Herpes
I was diagnosed with HSV1 in April,
I have only had the initial outbreak,
I have 2 questions..
1 - I would really like to get a blood test done and I was only swab tested, would this be possible on the NHS?
2- I'm currently seeing someone, I've hold him about my herpes, at first he reacted really badly to it, however it's got to the point now where it's the only thing holding us back from really trying to make it work. I'm just wondering what are his chances of catching it with unprotected sex (not during outbreaks) and any ways we could make it safer for him?
