Nipple shield size?

Question

I was going to buy some before having my girl so I could be prepared but I'm not sure how to pick a size?

Does the actual nipple grow once milk comes in? Or do I go from the size they are now?? Sorry if it sounds dumb, ftm and I'm super lost.

If the hospital you are delivering at has lactation services I'd wait and ask them, at my hospital they have them in hand and the lactation consultant just gave me two of them. Saved us a few $$! But to answer your question, in my experience my nipples do seem bigger and they stick out more now that I've been bfing for almost 4 weeks.

The hospital gave me mine. I'm not sure how it works where you are from but they gave me a handful before I left.

Nipple sheilds only come in 2 sizes and one you have to special order. It's kind of a one size fits all. I have to use one and the lactation consultants had to help me
