Birth Control Wierdness

So I started birth control on the 2nd day of my period and took 2 pills that day since the package says to start on day 1 of your period (but I obviously missed the 1st day). On the 2nd day I did it raw for the first time and did it raw again on the 3rd dat. I stopped my period on the 3rd day. I forgot to take my pill on the 4th so I took Plan B  on the 5th day (of my usual period) and stopped birth control. Come the 7th day I have dark spotting and my period came again. WHAT THE HECK DOES THIS MEAN?!?? I realize dark spotting is a sign of pregnancy; however, I wanted to know if anyone else's period stopped when they started taking it at the beginning of their period and if their period restarted in the same time right after they stopped taking it.
