Is it bad to dye your hair if pregnant?

Im 14 weeks & i want to dye my hair but everyone i ask has different opinions 😕 ppl say it could get in your pores and hurt the baby & others say its fine

I'm dying my hair on thursday. I talked to my doctor about it because i was on the fence and she said that it absolutely fine as long as my head isn't in the dye bowl huffing the fumes for hours lol

It's fine at any point in pregnancy. Make sure the room is ventilated.

All hairdressers I've been to/talked to say it's fine but they just won't do it in the first trimester. I think you can ask what colours salons use and then look up online if they've been deemed safe for pregnancy. Same with home hair dye.

Just be warned that your hair is now different and may not take the color like it usually would.  My hair went orange when I tried to go red/brown. 😶
