I am Currently 33weeks . I have a few questions and I would just like others experience stories.
Ok 1st off my private area feels a little sore at times when I move around . (is this normal) can't really describe the feeling other than sore .

2ndly I get cramps as if my period was about to start 
Nd sometimes I get a sharp  feeling doesn't really hurt but I can't move for about 30-45seconds.

3rd whenever I go to the doctor my doc just checks for baby heartbeat ... How would she know if I am dilated a little ? Or what position my baby is in .

1) That feeling is normal. It's pressure and your body adjusting to the extra weight.

2) Those cramps are also normal. It can be Braxton Hicks contractions, or just your body adjusting and moving ligaments around to prep for delivery and adjust to the additional weight you are carrying.

3) Those short periods of cramps/inability to move are small practice contractions

4) Without checking your cervix with n internal exam, your doctor will not know if you are dilated. As dilation is not an indicator of or predictor of labor, it's unnecessary to check it. Some doctors begin checking dilation between 32 and 36 weeks, however, it is an ineffective measure of your progress. Some women can walk around for weeks at 4 cms dilated and not be in labor, and others can go from 1cm to 10cm in a matter of a few hours. Cervical checks can increase your chances of infection or premature rupture of membranes. As far as baby's position, many midwives (and some doctors--although few I have met) are trained to determine baby's position by feeling your belly. My midwife can determine baby's position and weight with just her hands on my belly, and she's been within 4 ozs. with every baby. Most doctors will rely on an ultrasound for baby's weight and position in the 3rd trimester.

I'm 33 wks and have all the same feelings as you. I don't think the doctor checks for dilation until 35 weeks (but I could be wrong). You could request to be checked if you have concerns about baby coming early.

I'm 32 weeks and I have been getting constant period like cramps, they put me on the monitor wasn't contracting but she says there is "irritability" whatever that means .. she told me I could be getting those cramps cause I'm dehydrated as my pee looks darker than what it should.
