Labor and delivery hair?

Question

So for my delivery I don't want my hair down, cause of sweating and pushing and I don't want my hair in the way. I would like y'alls opinion on an easy hairdo I am able to do quick and keep it out of the way. I can do all of these within 10 minutes. I know it's the last thing I should worry about.

I have a lot of very thick hair so I also wanted mine out of the way. If it makes you feel better to think through this small detail of your delivery now, don't let other people get you down. Just don't forget that whatever gets planned now might not turn out the way you hoped.

Ah bless you! I didn't have time to think about it when I was in labour lol and I don't even remember what did I do with my hair anyway!;-) there was no time for it.  I think it was loose. Good luck!;-)

I'd go with a comfortable braided style, nothing too tight and with too many bobby pins. Keep it simple. After baby comes, if you feel like doing something a little more dressed up, change it then. Don't let the naysayers bring you down, everyone doesn't/isn't going to have the exact same mindset during delivery. If you feel your appearance will be important to you, it will, and it won't lessen the beauty or the importance of having your baby. Good luck!

Wow.. I was planning to get my hair trimmed today because I'm scheduled for a csection next week.. and this morning, I think I'm going to have her cut it for donation instead. LOL

Honestly I would just throw in a high messy bun. Because you want to be comfortable and those styles are low and will poke and bother you when you are laying down

My plan is to do what I always do when I'm doing chores or cooking and just need it out of the way.. I call it the twisty bun and it only takes 10 seconds and one good hair clip..

I'm doing something like pic #2. That hair style has lasted through a mud run, daily exercise routines, sex, and it always stays for me and looks decent.

I'd go with a French braid to keep it off my face. After that when you're able to take a shower do whatever you're up to.
