zit or something else???

Question

I have a bump on my inner labia that has whitish pus or something coming out of it. Can that be a zit or do I need to see a doctor?

Hmmm. It's really hard to say. Bumps could be anything, from ingrown hairs, to infection, to minor irritation, to full blown genital warts. If there's pus, it's even harder to say what it is. I'd just pop it, take a Q tip with some alcohol or tea tree oil and clean out the postule, then wash the area with some warm water. If it goes away, awesome. But if it comes back, you notice irritation, or more pop up, you've got something else going on and should consult a doctor.
