Stuck in the middle

I just got out of a relationship where the dude would just fight with me for no reason and he would talk to other people and it took me a lot of courage to do it since we dated for almost 2 years. He wants to get back together and my heart wants to too but I KNOW that nothing will be fixed. also, i have a new guy friend who is really nice that i may have a small crush on. I AM STUCK ON HOW TO HANDLE THIS
