It's been nearly one year since you've passed away. I still cry every night because you're not here. You were who I called everyday after school to tell you all about my day, and about how much I liked my new boyfriend. You really wanted to meet him,"If he makes you this happy, he ought to be a saint!" Is what you'd always say.  Him and I are still together, but you already know that, for you're watching over me from heaven, and probably scolding me every time I kiss him, or sit in his lap. "You know the code of the hills! If a boy gives you his jacket or holds your hand,you must get married!". God, I miss you so much. I miss when we all used to live together, and every morning before school you'd give me a hug and a kiss then as I would walk out the front door to catch my bus you'd call "Be smart, but don't be a smart butt!"  I miss our long talks into the early hours of the morning about your life, and how you believed that you're given infinite chances at life, and you'll be reincarnated until you do it right, only then will you be passed to the other side. I'd always ask you if you think this is your last life, and if you've done everything right. You'd always shake your head slightly and say "I don't know yet, Boo. That's a matter of opinion. My opinion doesn't matter, neither does yours. It's the big man who decides." Then you'd point up to the clouds. I have so so much I can't wait to tell you when I see you again, I keep a journal of everything I want to talk with you and Papaw about. I miss your smile, your laugh, your voice, and I just miss you. Rest In Peace my Great Aunt Dorothy I'm trying my best to make you proud of me in everything I do, I swear I'll always follow my heart like you told me to. Till we meet again❤
